| The Story:
Based on Richard Bissell's novel, Seven and a Half Cents, the show is about the Sleeptite Pajama Factory where the disgruntled employees are seeking a $.07 per hour raise. Babe Wiliams, the feisty employee representative sent to negotiate the wage increase, meets her match in shop superintendant Sid Sorokin. By the time they're done talking, it's not just a wage increase that's on their minds.
